Maize grits
Maize grits is used directly for human consumption and as raw material in food-processing, confectionary and brewing industry.
It is produced from chosen species of non-GMO maize with germ and kernel husk previously removed.
Maize grits is a product of solid consistence, with colour, scent and taste characteristic of the raw material that it is derived from.
Fat content in maize grits for brewing industry purposes is less than 1%, while the extract content in a dry matter is min. 87%.
The granulation of maize grits is 250-1250 microns and it can be adjusted according to the buyer’s demands.
At buyer’s demand, maize grits can be delivered either in 25 kg or 50 kg paper bags or in bulk.
Shelf life for maize grits is 12 months.
